Package Free and chef Douglas McMaster of the Britain-based zero waste restaurant, Silo, are hosting an exciting pop-up dining event November 7th through the 11th at Fitzcarraldo in Brooklyn to entice conversation and community around the topics of zero waste and sustainability. Panelists included innovators from around the world and local NY heros. Tensie Whelan from NYU Stern School of Sustainability, Joost Bakker Zero Waste Designer, Trsistram Stuart Founder of Toast Ale, Blue Hill lead chef.
Package Free and chef Douglas McMaster of the Britain-based zero waste restaurant, Silo, are hosting an exciting pop-up dining event November 7th through the 11th at Fitzcarraldo in Brooklyn to entice conversation and community around the topics of zero waste and sustainability.
The meal, prepared by Douglas and his team, will use fresh, local ingredients. The entire dinner will be waste-free and carbon negative through offsetting efforts.
Aligning with the zero waste meal, during the first two evenings of November 7th and November 8th, attendees will have a chance to hear from a panel of experts and innovators about how sustainable practices are shifting the way we view business and shaping our future.
Evening one will discuss zero waste and sustainability in the food industry and evening two will highlight sustainability heroes who are making big changes across industries.
